Terms of Service

The short version. Call Your Hero is a phone line where children talk with Santa. Santa's voice and conversation are generated by artificial intelligence. $40 buys 20 minutes, which you can spend over as many calls as you like from the same phone. Nothing is ever charged automatically.

1. Who we are

Call Your Hero is operated by Keystone International Ventures Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202515841E). In these terms, "we" and "us" mean that company. You can reach us at privacy@keystoneinternational.ventures.

2. What the service is

A telephone line where a child can have a conversation with a Santa character. The voice and the replies are produced by artificial intelligence. Santa is not a real person. The service is entertainment. It is not advice of any kind, and Santa makes no promise about any gift.

3. Who can buy and use it

  • You must be at least 18 years old to unlock the line and pay.
  • You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child who speaks with Santa, or have that person's permission.
  • A grown-up should stay nearby during the call.
  • The service is offered to callers in the United States.

4. Price and minutes

  • $40 (US dollars) buys 20 minutes with Santa.
  • Minutes belong to the phone number that bought them. They can be spent over any number of calls from that number and cannot be moved to another number.
  • Time is counted by the second, only while Santa is on the line. The introduction, the payment step and the goodbye are not counted.
  • Minutes can be used for twelve months from the day of purchase. They have no cash value.
  • Taxes, if any apply to you, are included in the price you hear on the call.

5. Paying

You pay with a credit or debit card that you type on your phone's keypad during the call. The card is collected by Twilio and charged through Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number or security code.

After your first purchase we keep a reference to your card with Stripe, so that you can add more time later by pressing one key. We never charge that card unless you press the key on a call. To remove the card, write to us.

6. When the minutes run out

Santa says goodbye shortly before your minutes end. You are then offered 20 more minutes for $40. If you do not press the key, nothing is charged and the call ends.

7. Refunds

  • If a technical problem kept you from talking with Santa, write to us within 14 days of the call. We will refund the purchase or return the minutes, whichever you prefer.
  • If you have not used any of the minutes in a purchase, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying it.

8. Text messages

By unlocking the line you agree to receive one text message after each call, at the number you called from, with a link to the wish list your child shared. If you press 2 during a call to pay on our website, we text you one payment link. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop the messages or HELP for help. Details are in the text message terms.

9. The wish list and shopping links

The wish list page may link to retailers so you can find a gift. Some of those links may pay us a commission. We are a participant in the Amazon Associates program, and as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. You are never required to buy anything.

10. Fair use

Please do not use the line to harass anyone, to try to make Santa say harmful things, to test or break the system, or for any unlawful purpose. We may end a call or close access to a phone number that does this, and we will refund any unused minutes.

11. What we cannot promise

Artificial intelligence can misunderstand a child or say something unexpected. We work hard to keep Santa kind, safe and in character, and we cannot guarantee that every sentence will be perfect. The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law of your home state or country gives you as a consumer.

12. Changes

If we change these terms we will post the new version here with a new date. Changes never apply to minutes you already bought in a way that makes them worth less.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without taking away any protection that the consumer law of your place of residence gives you.
